New Zealand's First Professional Pole Fitness Academy

Before Your Class

Before you come along there are a few things that you can do before coming to a class, to help make sure that your experience with us is the most fun you can have!

Firstly, make sure you have the correct clothing. You dont have to be wearing designer labels, or flashy neglige. But we do ask that you wear comfortable shorts that allow your thighs to see the light.
Dont worry about how big you think your thighs might be, or worry about people seeing you, as you can change in private once you are here, but if you have covered thighs, it will limit what we can teach you as you do need to have skin contact to grip the pole to control some fun moves!
If you wear pants or jeans, you may not be able to learn some of the moves as you risk injury sliding off the pole.

Shoes are another thing that we really recommend you ensure are suitable. You can wear any footwear you find comfortable from sneakers to stilettos. However, if you decide to wear heels, there are a few important things to check before you come, to avoid injury to yourself and other students.
We recommend you wear heels, at a height you can walk in - kitten or 8" we dont mind as long as you can walk easily in them,
We also strongly advise you to check the shoe fits your foot firmly and will not come off should you kick your foot. We advise shoes with straps around the ankles as these are the most secure you can get. Slide on shoes and any loose fitting shoes are a hazard as they can come loose and cause you an ankle injury, or go flying and cause someone else an injury!

Another thing to do is to bring along a bottle of water.
You will find you get pretty hot and you should work up a good sweat. Rehydrating is very important and the bar is closed while classes are on so you will need to pick one up on the way!
